Press conference for the XVII Moscow Easter Festival

Dear Friends,

We are pleased to invite you to a press conference dedicated to the XVII Moscow Easter Festival. Artistic Director of the Moscow Easter Festival Valery Gergiev will present the touring schedule and reveal the details of the forthcoming music forum

The press conference will take place on 5 February 2018 in the White Hall of the Moscow Mayor's Office (13 Tverskaya St), starting at 10.30.

Press conference participants include Artistic Director of the Moscow Easter Festival Valery Gergiev and representatives of general sponsors and information partners of the XVII Festival. Invitations to attend have also been sent to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, Russian Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky, Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoygu and His Holiness Kirill, Patriarch of Moscow and All the Russias.

For accreditation we would ask you to send the following: name and surname, passport details (number and, where applicable, series) and the title of the media you represent. For photographers and representatives of filming groups a list of equipment must also be submitted. Applications for accreditation close on 1 February.

Entry for journalists with accreditation will be via Entrance No 2 of the Moscow Mayor's Office from 9.00 and no later than 10.15 in strict accordance with approved lists and only on presentation of a passport.

The XVII Moscow Easter Festival will run from 8 April to 9 May 2018 and will be one of the largest and lengthiest in the festival's history. In line with tradition, the festival will present four programmes: symphony, choral, chamber and bell-ringing music. Its concerts by internationally acclaimed soloists and famous music ensembles will take place at major concert venues in Moscow and in Russia's regions.
